Tommy Angell, Founder and Director, Offshore Network
Following a work experience program at 16 Tommy spent the next 6 years in full time and contract work for the BBC. In 2008 Tommy joined a public/private joint venture media company which Tommy restructured and created an aggressive business development strategy for.
From late 2009 Tommy entered the Business Intelligence industry, focussing on energy programs in the US and Middle East. In this time he grew existing business within established markets and started new business activities in emerging markets.
In late 2013 Tommy co-founded Offshore Network and has concentrated on providing business critical information to the offshore well intervention sector in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico.
Tommy has a number of pets and adopted animals (including a whale!) and is an avid supporter of the UNC Tar Heels and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dean Murphy, Founder and Director, Offshore Network
After graduating from the University of Warwick, Dean began his full-time working career at a start-up company in the North East of England selling online marketing solutions. This revolved around assisting SME’s with their online marketing strategies to drive sales and improve their exposure online.
In 2009 Dean moved to London and began working with FCBI, an established business intelligence provider to help develop their offshore oil and nuclear sectors. Dean assisted the company by growing these sectors in new areas and regions.
At the end of 2013 Dean co-founded Offshore Network and is working with the team to provide detailed content and information to the oil and gas sector through bespoke whitepapers and conferences.
Dean is an avid fan of Middlesbrough FC and is still chasing the dream of being back in the Premier League!

James Taylor, Founder and Director, Offshore Network
After completing the Michael Page graduate program in 2008, James joined FCBI, a business intelligence provider based in London. In 5 years, he went from running conferences, to building two new business units for the company focusing on oil & gas and nuclear energy, before finally running the energy division for the company. Managing 32 members of staff, the energy division covered a portfolio of brands for the Nuclear, Solar, Wind, Wave, Tidal, Geothermal and Oil & Gas industries.
James was part of the FCBI Strategy Group - the remit of the which was to guide the business through structural & operational changes with the chief objective of achieving growth. At the end of 2013 James co-founded Offshore Network.
James is an English Literature graduate from the University of Reading, a keen rugby player and former captain of the Law Society RFC 1st XV - plying their trade in Surrey Division 1 - and a former GB Rowing World Class Start Athlete.
